Karen Fitton loves when technology allows people to focus more on the work of the non-profit and less on the administration. Karen is excited about the opportunity to help other organizations with their technology solutions.
Karen has been in the technology field for over 20 years. She started her career in a large corporation eventually saw the light and went to work with non-profits. Karen has been in the nonprofit realm for over 10 years. She stepped out of technology for 6 years and joined the league of fundraisers. She returned to technology when Friends of the Orphans needed someone to lead a database conversion project. The timing was right and Karen stepped into that role. Working with the consultants, Karen led the effort to convert their organization to Salesforce.com. She then led user adoption and enhancements for that system for almost four years.
She is a Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Advanced Administrator. She has been a panelist at Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference, speaking about user adoption. Karen was named a Salesforce MVP in 2015.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys traveling*, working in the garden, riding a bike, and being amazed watching her children grow.
